KALEIDOSCOPE: A NEW LOOK AT BRITISH COMICS

The alternative comics scene in the UK is currently experiencing a true golden age, with young publishers such as Blank Slate, Nobrow and Self-Made Hero and anthologies like the wonderful Solipsistic Pop shining a light on the work of new British cartoonists who really deserve to be noticed.

In March 2011, Orbital Comics proudly presented “Kaleidoscope: A New Look At British Comics”, an exhibition showcasing the very best of this new generation of British cartoonists, with work by Hurk, Joe Kessler, Lando, Joe List, Will Morris and Bethan Mure.

The show presented a combination of original artwork and prints specially selected to represent the new wave of comics art in the UK.
